Artifacts are tiny icons created and collected by members of the forum. You can create artifacts for yourself, or gift them to others. You can also adopt/swap artifacts. Each time an artifact is swapped its swap score goes up and its previous owner gets some swap credits!

Artifacts are mostly fun forum game, but they can also be enchanted with extra features such as avatar clothing, plus artifacts can be placed and worm on Main Street. Collecting and swapping artifacts is a popular pass time on MelonLand and well worth your time exploring if you get a chance!

The artifacts section of the forum can be accessed via the Artifact Hub, here you'll find the hottest artifacts, plus buttons to create and explore. If you are a scripter you can find artifact related API info!

To create an artifact head to the creation page. Here you can upload an artifact icon and give the artifact a title.

• Artifacts are limited to a max of 32x32px.
• GIFs and PNGs are recommended.
• Animated GIFs are supported, but wont work in the avatar builder.
• Artifact creation costs no swap credits, gifting an artifact costs 1 swap credit.

You can also visit the artifact section of someones profile such as melon's and scroll down to the bottom to “Give this person a new Artifact!” to create an artifact in someones else's collection as a gift.

You can enchant artifacts with extra features such as avatar clothing. Artifacts can be enchanted when they are created or after they have been created from the artifacts info page.

• Each artifact can have multiple enchantments, but only one of each type (e.g. one clothing item and one glow power)
• Enchantments cant be removed! The only way to remove an enchantment is to delete the artifact
• Different enchantments cost different swap credit amounts!

A big part of artifact collecting is swapping artifacts! On your artifact list you'll see a lock icon. Unlocked artifacts are open to be swapped/adopted by others. Up to 20 unlocked artifacts will also appear in the “Swap Shelf” under all your forum posts. NOTE: up to 6 locked artifacts also appear to the left of the shelf as cosmetics only. To adopt an artifact, click its icon on a swap shelf, or find it on someones profile, and click “Adopt”! You'll be charged its swap value and it will be moved to your collection!

Artifacts also offer embed codes that can be found on their info page. This code shows an artifacts swap status and can be embedded on around the forum, everyone site and your homepage to offer artifacts for swapping!

Every artifact has a swap history that can be viewed by clicking its swap count. The swap history tab gives you a complete list of everyone who has ever owned that artifact in the past, plus the person who created it.

The avatar workshop lets you construct avatars out of artifacts and enchanted artifacts. You can enchant artifacts to include special clothing items for avatars! Your workshop avatar will appear on Main Street, and it can also be set as your forum avatar!

The avatar builder offers a number of standard bases you can create cloths for, they include:
