Hello, and welcome to the Self-Help resources. Your well-being is important! This is a special information page that is all about taking care of each other, learning what to do if someone attempts to self-harm, and more. This page isn't all about MelonLand, or MelonKing itself, but its useful enough to be on here.
Responding to threats of harm on the forums
If you feel you may physically harm yourself or others
Please, stop. Instead, Click here for a list of mental health resources, If in doubt, Please see the FAQ, and the other resources
- Many threats are empty. but if you believe that that moderators aren't aware, click on report the claims to the Melonland staff, by clicking on the users profile, then under the Actions, Click on Report Profile. Please explain exactly what happened, and hit the submit button. If the moderators already know what is going on, then please let them handle it.
- If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency services.
- If melon isn't online, just busy, or if in doubt, Immediately contact Melon via E-mail about the situation. You can do so at webmaster@melonking.net.
- Do not attempt to use the Liquid Crystal Cafe to talk to the mods, Do not publicly announce the threat in any way, that would be like putting out a fire with gasoline, and we don't want that to ever happen.

Q. “I am feeling tired about life and/or find it hard to move on.”
A. You might be suffering from “burnout”. Try to ease stress and heal from any past traumas as much as possible.
Q. “I am not sure what I am working toward.”
A. You have a constructive purpose that only you can fulfill! Some organization, time management, and goal-setting methods might help to uncover it. It takes patience to create things.
Q. “I am overwhelmed by information.”
A. Develop a sense of logical reasoning and break down complex subject matter into usable bits. Find some study methods that work for you. Be self-motivated in your learning.
Q. “How do I survive when I have little?”
A. Make sure that you get enough nutrition by managing your resources well. When one lacks access to healthcare, herbalism and basic first-aid are also helpful skills to have.
If you are trying to find somewhere to stay, please be careful.
Q. “I have trouble talking with people.”
A. It may be helpful to learn some communication strategies.
