Shard World (aka Other World 1¹⁾), and Gateway Web Service) is a 3D render, of a never ending sphere. It is the first thing you see when you enter melonking. There are hills, and a shard in the middle. The user can click around to move and explorer. You can visit it here. The music is a midi rendition of Greensleeves. The pink text on the bottom left says “You find yourself drifting slowly in a never ending sphere, maybe a million years has passed, maybe only a second…”
